KidKraft Boat Bed

The KidKraft Boat Bed is just what you need to make your toddler think that going to bed is fun!

Who wouldn’t want to drift off to sleep floating over imaginary seas? This bed has decorative rails to keep toddlers from rolling off in their sleep, but the bed is low enough for them to climb in and out by them selves. This is a good transitional bed for little tikes who have out grown their cribs, but need an incentive to stay in their own bed instead of hiding in yours. Since their bed is much more glamorous, they’ll be proud to sleep in it. They can make believe they are sailing, fishing, scuba diving, and having adventures with pirates.

The rubber wood construction makes use of agriculturally grown trees that would have been destroyed after their latex production season anyway, so by using rubber-wood, you spare the ecosystem from deforestation. This wood should be kept indoors, and never put in real water, but it sure is fun pretending to be out on the high seas, or gently rocking in the marina. String colored lights for the marina effect, or play soothing recordings of waves and hump back whale songs for ambiance. Sea Shanties make good lullaby.
